GolfRules Concerning Golf Play & Privileges
  1. All members and guests must register with the Golf Shop or Starter before play.
  2. No play is permitted when the Golf Course is closed.
  3. All play must begin at the first tee unless authorized by a member of the Golf Professional Staff.
  4. Monday: Golf Course is closed to member play before 3:00 p.m. Guests are not permitted on Mondays.
  5. On Tuesday – Sunday, members and guests must take a cart or caddy before 3:00 p.m. This time may change in the fall and winter months based on daylight hours.
  6. Course may be closed for approved golf outings, tournaments, or golf course maintenance.  Please check with the Golf Shop.
  7. Music is not permitted to be played on the golf course, practice facilities or anywhere on Llanerch Country Club property. Authorized music includes the following, music from headphones which isn’t audible by another person, music by outside vendors as part of a management approved event.
  8. Push Carts
  • Push carts will be permitted after 3:00 p.m. in season, Tuesday – Sunday (when members are currently permitted to carry their own bags) and in the offseason at the discretion of the golf staff when caddies are not available.
  • Members and their guests will only be permitted to use club supplied push carts and will not be permitted to use their own.
  • Push carts will be permitted on days when riding carts are not permitted, only when caddies are not available and at the discretion of Brendan Byrne and the Green department.
   These members may play at any time except:
  1. Monday (Course closed to all Member Play before 3:00 p.m. – See #4 under General Rules)
  2. Tuesday before 11:00 a.m.  (Except Women Certificate Holders, Women Intermediates, and Women Juniors) – Women’s Day
  3. Special days authorized by the Board of Directors for outings, tournaments, etc. with proper notification to the members.
  4. Senior-Senior Limited – Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
  5. Women Certificate Holders, Women Intermediates, and Women Juniors (23-26) - between 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursdays – Men’s Day
  6. Junior-Junior tournament days – before 10:30 a.m.
      These members may play during the following times:
  1. Tuesday & Wednesday– Before 11:30 a.m. and after 1:00 p.m. (Except Male Spouses may not play before 11:00 a.m. – Women’s Day)
  2. Thursday – before 11:30 a.m. and after 4:00 p.m. (Except Male Spouses may play during Men’s Day window 11:30 – 3:00 p.m. & Juniors 19-22 may not play after 4:00 p.m.)
  3. Friday – Before 11:30 a.m. and after 2:00 p.m.
  4. Saturday, Sunday & Holidays (including Good Friday) – After 11:00 a.m. 
General Rules
  1. A Junior-Junior is defined as any child of a golf member that is between the age of 6 and 18 and registered in the Llanerch Junior-Junior program. 
  2. Anyone in this category must be registered in the Junior-Junior Program in order to play golf.
  3. Junior-Juniors that are at least 11 years of age and have earned their Merit Tag (certification), may practice and play golf unaccompanied by an adult at the times listed below.  All other Junior-Juniors must be accompanied by an adult at all times to practice or play golf. 
  4. Children under 5 years of age may not use the driving range, putting green or Golf Course at any time.  They may use the practice hole if accompanied by an adult.
Junior-Juniors may play during the following times:
  1. Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday – after 1:00 p.m. Friday – after 2:00 p.m.
  2. Junior-Juniors may also play on Wednesday and Friday morning before 10:00 a.m.
  3. Thursday – permitted to play with their group during the morning Junior-Junior Program (no more golf permitted that day). 
  1. House member – (One spouse only – designated by initiation fee) may play once each month from April through October and twice each month from November through March.  They may play after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, before 10:00 a.m. on Wednesdays, and after 2:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. They may not play on Mondays, Thursdays, Sundays, or Holidays (including Good Friday) unless they are a guest of a golf member. House member rounds as a guest of a golf member still count towards their rounds per month.
  2. House members must notify the Golf Shop of their intention to play before arriving at the Club.  This will allow the Golf Shop to approve or disapprove the request depending on course conditions, outings, tournaments, or unusually heavy play. 
  3. Guest Privileges – House members may have up to three (3) guests during the days and times permitted in paragraph #1 above, provided they have not utilized their day(s) that month.  These members must contact the Golf Shop first for approval and abide by all of the rules designated under Guest Privileges.  House members may not bring the same guest more than twice during the golf season.  House members may not bring guests on Thursdays or weekends.
  4. House members must register at the Golf Shop and pay greens fees.
Guest Fees:
April 1 – November 30 - $95
December 1 – March 31 - $55
GUEST PRIVILEGES (These guidelines apply to all membership categories)
  1. Any member inviting guests must play with his or her guests.
  2. All members must call the Golf Shop 24 hours in advance of bringing guests to provide notice and to seek approval from the Golf Professional Staff.  This ensures guests are greeted properly and avoids any conflict with outings or any scheduled club tournaments.
  3. Guest play is not permitted on Mondays.
  4. Spouses of Family Members may not be considered guests.  Please see above for permitted playing times.
  5. Spouses of Non-Family Members are permitted to play as guests only during times Spouses of Family Members are permitted to play.
  6. All golf members may bring up to 3 guests Tuesday – Sunday during times they are eligible to play. Exceptions to the number of guests must be approved by the Golf Shop, The Club Professional and/or the Golf Committee.
  7. A golfer who resides within 50 miles of the club may not be a guest more than once a month.  Exception: A golfing member of an approved club belonging to the Golf Association of Philadelphia may be a guest once a week.
  8. Members are responsible for the appearance, conduct and obligations of their guests.
Junior-Junior Members 14 years and older may bring a guest at a half greens fee
Guests Gender – Guests are gender-neutral with the exception of the following times:
1. Tuesday – Women’s Day – Male guests are not permitted before 11:00 a.m.
2. Thursday – Men’s Day – Female guests are not permitted between 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
